The ECOXGEAR Defender 12V in white is the 100-watt, IP67 floating Defender party speaker with one addition for 4WDs, boats, caravans and camps: a regulated 12V DC charging input, so it charges from a vehicle or auxiliary battery through the supplied SAE-DC cable and keeps playing while it does. A 100W Texas Instruments amplifier drives a 6" × 9" polypropylene carbon main driver and a 1.7" titanium tweeter, the battery runs for 25+ hours*, and Bluetooth 5.1, EcoCast linking, a ¼" microphone input for PA use and app-controlled LED lighting are all on board.

Key Features

• 12V DC charging: regulated 12V DC / 2A input charges the speaker from a vehicle or auxiliary battery through the included SAE-DC adaptor cable, and it plays while charging (optional cigarette-lighter lead or SoundExtreme 2.4m cable available separately)
• 100W peak, 2-way speaker system: 6" × 9" full-range polypropylene carbon main driver and 1.7" titanium tweeter, driven by a 100W dynamic Texas Instruments amplifier
• 3 digital EQ settings: indoor, outdoor and favourite modes to suit the space
• IP67 waterproof and dustproof, and it floats: withstands full submersion to 1m for 30 minutes
• 25+ hours of playtime*: built-in 14.8V 79.96Wh (5400mAh) lithium-ion battery gives 6+ hours even at maximum volume, and the speaker plays while charging
• Bluetooth 5.1 with hands-free calling: streams from up to 30m away, pairs two devices at once, and the built-in microphone handles speakerphone calls and Siri or Google Assistant
• EcoCast: link up to 100 EcoCast-enabled ECOXGEAR and SoundExtreme speakers so everyone hears the same track (up to 9m between speakers)
• ¼" microphone input: plug in a dynamic microphone (sold separately) for PA use, with 3 EQ effects for your voice
• Addressable LED lights and torch: party lighting and a flashlight, controlled from the backlit keypad or the free SoundExtreme app
• 3.5mm aux input and USB-C charge-out: play wired sources, and top up a phone from the 5V/2.1A USB-C port
