The built-in offline cloning mode enables direct drive duplication without the need for a computer, providing a convenient solution for data migration.

• Four Operating and RAID Modes

This enclosure offers various operating modes, including RAID 0, RAID 1, clone and normal partition modes. It provides flexibility in terms of storage configuration or data redundancy needs.

PM (Partition Mode): The enclosure operates as a standard external drive enclosure with no RAID configuration, treating each SSD as an independent drive. Two SSDs will appear as separate drive letters on the computer.

RAID 0: Disk striping mode that divides data into blocks and distributes them across two SSDs. This increases read and write performance, but it is not recommended for storing important data, as failure of one drive will result in total data loss.

RAID 1: Disk mirroring mode that provides data redundancy and fault tolerance by replicating data across two SSDs. This ensures files can be recovered if one drive fails.

CLONE: In this mode, the device operates as a standalone duplicator dock without being connected to a computer, allowing easy cloning of NVMe M.2 SSDs. It is ideal for data backup and migration.

Important Notes

•Only supports reading or cloning two SSDs with the same protocol (two M.2 NVMe SSDs or two M.2 SATA SSDs). NVMe and SATA M.2 SSDs cannot be used simultaneously in any of the four modes.

•Switching modes will format both SSDs. Please back up important data before switching modes to avoid data loss.
