The ECOXGEAR EXM600 is a 6-watt VHF marine handheld for boaters who want more reach and longer days on the water. It is IP67 waterproof and floats, with a water-activated strobe for easy retrieval, and switches between 6W, 3W and 1W output to balance talk range* against battery life. A live RSSI display shows signal strength and squelch level, a 3W internal speaker with noise-reduction circuitry keeps calls clear over engine noise, and the lithium-ion battery pack runs for up to 16 hours between charges in the included desktop cradle. It comes factory programmed with the International, USA and Canada marine channel banks plus weather channels (the International bank is the one used in Australian waters), with one-touch Channel 16 and a user-programmable priority channel.
